We recently received a beautiful series of photos from a kind family who installed one of our custom hammock floors in their children’s bedroom.
The images tell the full story — from the installation process to the finished, cozy space that now feels almost twice as big.
During installation, the net was first positioned using strong cable ties that we include with every kit. These ties help center the net precisely before beginning the double zig-zag lacing of the 10mm tension rope between the stainless-steel eye screws. Each eye screw was placed at a 15 cm interval, creating a clean, even pattern around the perimeter — both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
The result is a perfectly tensioned white loft net that feels safe, stable, and visually elegant.
In this project, the net forms an L-shape, made from a rectangular cutout that leaves space for a wooden ladder leading to the upper area. The family’s father built a solid wooden frame, ensuring the net could be attached firmly even around the ladder opening. This careful planning keeps the square mesh pattern uniform and harmonious.
The final photo says it all — their daughter peacefully taking a nap on her new hammock floor, surrounded by light and comfort.
